Parade Start Time: 12noon

Start Location: Duke Street (Barrow Library)

The organisers of Barrow Carnival, are again bringing a carnival parade through the streets of Barrow for the 2nd year running.

In 2018, the parade was brought back after it was missing from our town for 5 years.

This year, we are pleased to announce the parade is set to be bigger than ever, with many local business and organisations already interested in joining the fun, along with the fabulous dancing troupes!

We hope you will support us and line the streets on Saturday 22nd June 2019. The parade will set off from Duke Street (Barrow Library) at 12 noon and makes its way up Abbey Road, right onto Park Avenue, and then into Barrow Park to the event field. At 1pm the fantastic Dance Gala will take place with girls, boys and adults showcasing their dancing skills.

The theme is "Nautical", so dig out your sailor outfits, buckets and spades, swimwear and join in the fun, under the sea or above there is plenty to choose from, get your mcboaty on!

Being a part of the Barrow Carnival Parade is an amazing experience, it's a great way to raise awareness for your team, club, business or cause as well as joining in an amazing celebration within the community.
